Lower PFAS concern, but PUR's silence on PFAS sourcing leaves room for doubt.

The PFM400H uses standard activated carbon and ion-exchange media, which are not inherently PFAS-containing materials. PUR has not publicly disclosed whether these filter cartridges or plastic components are treated with water-repellent or grease-resistant coatings that might contain PFAS.
