Amara's Law: 11 product categories banned, everything else to follow

Minnesota's Amara's Law banned intentionally added PFAS in 11 consumer categories starting in 2025: carpets and rugs, cleaning products, cookware, cosmetics, dental floss, fabric treatments, juvenile products, menstrual products, ski wax, textile furnishings, and upholstered furniture.

A broader prohibition covering most products with intentionally added PFAS is scheduled for 2032 unless a use is designated currently unavoidable.
