Lower PFAS concern, enameled cast iron is a traditional cookware material without nonstick coatings.

Tramontina's enameled cast iron Dutch oven uses vitreous enamel (glass-based coating) fused to cast iron, a cookware type not typically associated with PFAS. The enamel coating itself does not require fluorochemicals. Tramontina makes no PFAS claims, but the material choice itself presents lower concern than modern nonstick cookware.
