Teflon's flagship product line uses Teflon-type coating, a legacy PFAS Teflon-family coating. While modern Teflon-type coating cookware is considered lower-risk than vintage non-stick (which often contained PFOA), it remains a direct PFAS source. Teflon has made no PFAS-free claims or third-party certifications for this product.
