Scanpan's Classic line uses anodized aluminum with a proprietary nonstick coating, but the brand provides no public disclosure of whether it contains PFOA, Teflon-type coating, or other PFAS compounds. Scanpan's newer lines (e.g., Scanpan PFAS-free) suggest the Classic line has not been reformulated.
