Lower PFAS concern, acoustic guitar strings are inherently simple metal/bronze products with no known Teflon-family coating use.

Martin MA130 strings are traditional phosphor bronze wound on steel, materials with no established PFAS application in string manufacture. No evidence of water-repellent coatings, non-stick treatments, or Teflon-family coating finishes. Martin makes no PFAS claims either way, which is typical for this product category.
