Icebreaker Sierra gloves are merino wool, based with a water-repellent coating (water-repellent coating) finish typical of outdoor apparel. Merino wool itself is a natural fiber with lower PFAS risk than synthetics, but the water-repellent coating is a common source of legacy PFAS.
