GreenPan's Bobby Flay cast iron features a proprietary thermolon coating claimed to be PFOA-free and plant-based nonstick. The base material (cast iron) is inherently lower-PFAS risk. However, GreenPan's claims lack third-party lab verification, and "PFOA-free" does not guarantee absence of other PFAS chemicals in the coating.
